The mission of Hampton Elementary School is to

No short-shorts or short skirts. No see-through clothing.
 
 
 
HES' ESEA report card was released by the State Department of Education to meet federal reporting requirements.  HES earned the grade of "B" which indicates the school is exceeding state & federal expectations. Although we celebrate the "B", we believe in continuous growth and are working towards an "A"! We are striving each day to be better than we were the day before!!! Thank you to parents, community members, students, faculty & staff for helping us be successful! 
 

Our Own Melonee Ginn Earns the $25,000 Milken Award

 Melonee
Fifth-grade teacher Melonee Ginn of Hampton Elementary School got the shock of her life when she was presented with a $25,000 Milken Educator Award at an all-school assembly. Dr. Gary Stark, CEO of the National Institute for Excellence in Teaching and a 2001 Milken Educator from Arkansas, as well as Dr. Mick Zais, state superintendent of education, announced the news to thunderous applause. Melonee is a very deserving educator! She is the Best of the Best! Congratulations Ms. Ginn!
