Hello! My name is Robin (Hiers)Taylor. This is my 20th year in education. I have taught kindergarten, first grade, third grade, fourth grade, Adult Education, Music Literacy, and Reading Recovery/Intervention. This is my 4th year teaching ESOL (English as a Second Language), 3rd Grade GT (Gifted and Talented), and Reading Intervention. This is my second year as a Math/Science Coach. I work with the PreK through 3rd teachers at Varnville Elementary School and K through 6th at Brunson Elementary School. Finally, I am the site coordinator for the after school program at Brunson Elementary through a partnership with Hampton District 1. I am also the Transportation Coordinator for the ASP. I love learning and try to instill that in my students and teachers. I always look for opportunities to make learning enjoyable and appealing. I use a variety of technologies in my classroom (Promethean Board, laptops, IPAD, and interactive games).
My focus in my personal learning this year is ELA and Math CCSS.
I have four daughters: Kelyne 12th grade, Kenzie 10th grade, Kerry 8th grade, and Kerissa 5th grade.
