The purpose of the Board Listens session is to give members of the public an opportunity to address issues of concern regarding education in Hampton County School District One. While the full Board will not likely be present, the members who are present will relay any concerns raised to other Board members.  The concerns should be general in nature.  Specific employees, or other members of the public, may not be discussed.  This is not a "town forum" meeting, so members of the audience should not expect an immediate response from the Board membership.  However, District staff will respond in writing to any concerns or issues raised by the participant.

 

Participation in the Board Listens session is not open to the employees of Hampton County School District One.  Rather, employees should follow the chain of command and procedures that are in place to address employee concerns.
