Recertification

The terms of your contract with Hampton School District One require you to maintain your certificate as well as any other guidelines specific to your teaching assignment(s) such as Jason Flatt, Darkness to Light and/or Read to Succeed Endorsements.

To renew your certificate, you must submit the appropriate forms and support documentation (120 applicable points) to the Human Resources department before June 30, 2020. The district’s renewal credit matrix and computation sheet are available to help guide you through the process.

If you have questions or need a copy of your professional development and training worksheet, please see Carole McGrath. Please note that you may only use 30 hours (6 hours per year/for five years) of technology credit for option 3 on the renewal credit matrix.

Individuals who have not earned a Master's Degree must have at least three graduate credit hours (60 renewal points) documented on an official college transcript. Individuals who are certified through an alternative certification process such as PACE or ABCTE and have not obtained “professional” certification status, must meet their program guidelines each year to renew their certificates.
