Hampton One Students Can Now Receive Dental Services in the District
Hampton One students without a dental home can receive dental services within the school district at no out-of-pocket costs to parents. Students can receive cleaning, sealants, and / or restorative treatments.

With a generous grant from the Charlotte, N.C.-based Duke Endowment, the nonprofit health care network, Welvista, established the Smiles for a Lifetime Dental Center. The clinic is housed on the campus of Varnville Elementary School.

The primary purpose of this service is to provide support to Hampton One children who do not have a dental home or can not afford dental care. A parent or guardian must sign a consent form before a student will be able to receive services. For more information, contact Jack Hutto at 803-903-1007 or call the Smiles for a Lifetime Dental Center at 803-903-1448.

A Big Thank You to our Partner in Education, Sheriff T.C. Smalls and the Hampton County Sheriff’s Office for donating a car to Hampton District One that will be used to transport students to the Smiles for a Lifetime Dental Program.
